ATELIER PROJECT
Higher Education Institutions struggle to overcome the traditional educational approach by addressing people's weaknesses and creating innovative learning curricula based on capacity development, enabling environments and processes, and cohesive social apparatuses.

ATELIER Project responds to the learning needs by adopting a trans-disciplinary perspective and offering a variety of tools. Combining Design and Social Sciences helps match an analytical and critical approach with a transformative one.
PROJECT AIMS
1
Improve HEIs capacities to cooperate with CSOs in developing and applying co-design and social design methods and practices as an innovative and impactful approach to the social inclusion of vulnerable people.
2
Enhance the didactic offerings of universities by modeling design practices for social inclusion. This involves identifying the necessary competencies, understanding the involved actors, and recognising the contextual conditions required for professionals to effectively apply these models. The project will then translate these models into accessible learning materials, leading to micro-credentials. This will be achieved through the development of a learning toolkit, short courses, and practical experiences across borders.
3
Foster civic engagement through jointly-organised (HEIs and CSOs) multi-stakeholder workshops to apply codesign at local level on more effective and inclusive initiatives in their regions.
